How to Use the GPS Ball Mount With Your GPS
The GPS Ball Mount is designed to work with any GPS with a 17mm ball receiver hole. This includes Garmin GPS, many Magellan models, and others (note that TomTom GPS models DO NOT utilize this size ball).
To use the GPS Ball Mount, you must have a GPS with the ball receiver hole, either built in to the GPS or as a plate/cradle that attaches to the GPS. In Garmin Nuvi kits, this cradle is usually a rigid plastic material that 'clips' to the GPS at top and bottom, as shown in this photo.
Since this plate is a rigid plastic material (unlike our parts which are aluminum and stainless steel), we suggest you glue that plate to the back of your GPS. If have a Garmin Nuvi, you may also want to consider the Diamond Mount.
